Join us for an evening of classical masterworks, featuring Fauré's intimate Requiem and a selection of choral works featuring the Cathedral Festival Chorus, National Children’s Festival Chorus, orchestra and esteemed soloists on Monday evening, June 12 at 7pm.
Fauré's intimate Requiem performed by singers from across the United States, professional soloists, organ, and esteemed orchestra, conducted by Maestro Joshua Habermann is considered to be one on Fauré's most popular work. His Requiem has been described as being influenced from beginning to end by a very human feeling of faith in eternal rest with gorgeous choral writing and the famous "Pie Jesu" sung by soprano soloist.
The concert will also feature The National Children’s Festival Chorus in an array of choral works, including Handel’s Awake the Trumpet’s Lofty Sound, Delibes’ Messe Brève – Kyrie and Gloria, Rachmaninoff’s Lilacs and Hogan’s Music Down in My Soul, conducted by Elena Sharkova.
Don't miss this exciting evening of choral music at the beautiful Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
Ticket sales will close Monday, June 12 at 9 AM EST. After this time, tickets will only be available for collection at the door 30 minutes prior to concert performance
