Austin Scott
AUSTIN SCOTT is a versatile singer and actor who first gained recognition for starring in the Broadway and National Touring companies of Hamilton for two years. He then co-starred in the Broadway production of the Bob Dylan-inspired musical Girl From the North Country, performing “Slow Train” and “Hurricane” on the Grammy Award-nominated cast recording as well as on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Austin returned to Broadway last year starring in the acclaimed production of &Juliet, and Off- Broadway this past spring in the new musical Goddess at The Public. Equally present on screen, Austin starred in Tyler Perry’s NAACP-nominated Netflix film A Jazzman’s Blues, and can be heard singing on the soundtrack. He also can be seen in the FX Limited Series “Clipped”, the Peacock movie Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie, the BET series “Sistas,” the Emmy winning “Pose”, and the thriller film Cabin Girl.
