Available in two cities, EXCEL offers an exciting educational and performance opportunity
with pricing flexibility and unusual value for concert choirs from across the United States.
Participating choirs will perform with their own conductor at outstanding concert halls for
written and taped comments from nationally recognized collegiate conductors followed by a
workshop with one of them. Choirs may choose to compete for a first, second, or third place
ranking, or participate for comments and clinic only. We invite all participants to hear and
observe the performances of other ensembles
EXCEL offers further value through a Festival
Honors Chorus and soloist coachings. Conductors of participating choirs may elect to submit
a balanced octet for rehearsals and performance in a Festival Honors Chorus conducted by
one of our guest collegiate conductors. And for an additional cost, individual singers may
elect a voice coaching from area professionals who will then choose soloists to be featured
on the final awards ceremony.
